Getting Started
1
Download & Install — Download CadBridge above and run the installer. Windows may show a SmartScreen prompt since the app is new — click "More info" → "Run anyway".
2
Launch CadBridge — Open CadBridge. It will start a local WebSocket server on port 5111 and automatically connect to Inventor if it's running.
3
Sign in on the website — Open the CadDoneQuick website. The status indicator in the header will show a green dot when CadBridge is connected.
4
Start a challenge — Pick a challenge, hit Start, and model the part in Inventor. CadBridge streams your mass in real time so you know when you're within tolerance.
Why Do I Need CadBridge?
CadDoneQuick uses a companion app to communicate with Autodesk Inventor on your machine. CadBridge runs in the background and handles:
- Real-time mass monitoring while you model
- Automatic sketch and feature detection for anti-cheat
- Part submission when you hit the target mass
- Drawing export for challenge creation
Without CadBridge, you can browse challenges and view the leaderboard, but you cannot start a timer or submit parts.
